The Velocity line from Vaughn has been a staple in the goaltending world for longer than a lot of young goalies have been in the game. With their 8th iteration, the Vaughn VE8 brings the same classic feel that goalies expect, but pair that feeling with modern features that goalies are searching for.

Vaughn`s VE8 intermediate goalie leg pad has modern features like the flat knee roll and seamless inside sliding edge. These features offer more consistent rebounds across the face of the pad, as well as a more consistent slide. The pad also features a full foam core construction, very similar to the senior model of this pad.

The VE8 Int goalie leg pad features Vaughn`s new magnetic attachment system. This system replaces the leather straps usually found on the calf of the leg pad. This magnetic attachment system provides the same speed as an all velcro system, but pulls on the leg the same way as a traditional leather strap would. This provides the speed, but also maintains a very similar feel to the older Velocity leg pads.
